The world’s first fitting noise protection system
This consists of a single-use headband which uses calibrated silicone cartridges containing inflation pumps that are filled with a medical grade silicone compound. It is this silicone that will flow into the unmoulded earplugs and form the finished custom-moulded plugs.
When the headband is in place, the installer opens the safety catches by releasing the activation switches one at a time. The silicone takes six minutes to cure and set. During this time, the user sits still, keeping the jaw and head as immobile as possible.
When the plugs are ready, they are removed from the single-use headset and attached to face plates and lanyard, which are supplied as part of the kit. They are ready to use immediately and will keep their shape, even though they continue to cure for the following 24 hours.
